KOSTELAC dried fig liqueur is a traditional liqueur made from the Paradise Fruit of the Mediterranean– the fig. After they are picked, figs are left to dry in the sun. Dried figs are macerated in brandy. After six months of maceration, the tincture is separated and the remaining fruit is distilled. After distillation, the brandy and tincture are mixed with other ingredients and the result is a completely natural liqueur as made in the old days. The liqueur has a full flavour and pronounced aroma and is served cold in a chilled glass.
